BS EN 1171 Gate Valve

Our BS EN 1171 gate valve is manufactured strictly per BS 5150 PN16 & BS EN 1171 industrial standards, split into two core construction types: OS&Y outside screw and yoke gate valve and NRS non rising stem gate valve.
Both variants adopt full solid wedge disc & flanged end design, classic cast iron body construction, widely applied for on-off cut-off of water, oil and gas pipelines in plumbing, HVAC, municipal water supply and general industrial piping systems.

Technical Parameters

Two Main Types Selection Guide

 

1.BS EN 1171 Gate Valve(RS)

Manufactured per BS5150 PN16, BS5163 & EN1171 standards for full standard compliance.

Face-to-face dimension follows BS5150 Series3 and EN558.1 F3 specs.

Flange drilling conforms to BS4504 & EN1092-2 PN16 for standard pipe matching.

Nominal working pressure: PN16 / 1.6MPa.

Each valve passes seat test at 1.76MPa and shell test at 2.4MPa for tightness verification.

Max applicable working temperature: ≤232°C.

Works for clean water, oil and non-corrosive gas medium.

2.BS EN 1171 Gate Valve(NRS)

Built in compliance with BS 5150 PN16, BS5163 and EN1171 industry standards.

Face-to-face dimension complies with BS5150 Series 3 & EN558.1 F3 specifications.

Flange hole layout follows BS 4504 and EN1092-2 PN16 for easy piping fit-up.

Rated nominal working pressure: PN16 (1.6MPa).

Factory seat leakage test: 1.76MPa; body shell hydrostatic test: 2.4MPa.

Continuous operating temperature range: up to 232°C max.

Compatible service media: clean water, mineral oil and non-corrosive gas.
